A Little About Us

Fellowship Bible Church is a local church in the Bozeman community whose mission is to live and serve together as disciples of Christ.  We define a disciple of Christ as someone who LOVES God and others, LEARNS His Word, and LIVES out His mission.  This mission and these core values define who we are and what we do as a group of Jesus followers.

The desire to LOVE God and others motivates our desire to live in a relational Christian community.

Sunday mornings are a time to fellowship together as a church community, worship God in song, and learn together from His Word.

Our mid-week Life Groups are designed to take us from surface-level relationships to a deeper community where we get to really know each other, encourage one another, and bear one another’s burdens.  We believe that church is not a list of services we attend but a community in which we live.

The desire to LEARN God’s Word guides everything we do.

Through the worship service messages and other weekly Bible studies, anyone who is hungry for God’s Word, or just curious, will find what they need to be transformed and grow in their understanding of Scripture.

The desire to LIVE out God’s mission of developing other disciples through relational environments.

There are many things that can keep a church busy, but we take literally our Lord’s command to go and make disciples of all people, and we keep this as our primary objective.  Therefore, we aim to invest in others who will come to know Christ, and guide them on to spiritual maturity through a reproducible discipleship process.

What We Believe

  1. THE BIBLE: We believe the scriptures of the Old & New Testament as being verbally inspired by God and inerrant and infallible in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and sole authority.
  2.  GOD: We believe in one God eternally existing in one essence, yet co-equal persons, the Trinity: Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
  1. JESUS: We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  2. THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. He is the life of the believer and He empowers the preaching and teaching of the Gospel.
  1. PEOPLE: We believe that mankind was created in the image of God, sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but spiritual death, which is separation from God, and that human beings are born with a sinful nature and are thereby unable to do anything good to secure God’s favor.
  1. SALVATION – We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again by the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God and heirs of eternal life.  The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice and physically rose from the dead on the third day, and that all who believe in Him are saved on the basis of His shed blood.  We believe that salvation is the free gift of God’s grace to all who believe, and that it is instantaneous and not a process.
  1. HELL & THE DEVIL: We believe in the existence of a personal devil, who is still working in the world to destroy the souls of men and that he and all his angels and all who do not receive Christ as their personal Savior will eternally perish in the lake of fire.
  1. THE CHURCH – We believe in the Local Church, whose mission it is to make disciples throughout all the world. Everything it does is guided by qualified leadership and supported by the wise stewardship of God’s people.
